BLASAU, S.L. was founded in 1977 by Mr. Miquel Blanch Sidera and Mr. Enric Saurina Suñer, and established in a 1200 m² facility located in Sant Feliu de Pallerols. Initially, the company manufactured decorative metal figures and metal furniture for supermarkets and schools. After a while, it started to produce tools for the meat industry in the town and the region.

In 1986, Mr. Enric Saurina left the company and was replaced by Ms. Mercè Freixa Bosch. In 1993, two of Mr. Miquel's children, Gerard and Judit Blanch Freixa, joined the company.

In the early 1990s, the company was already working mainly for the national meat industry, and in the mid-1990s, it began to focus on the design and installation of slaughter lines.

In 1999, Blasau purchased a building of about 2200 m² located next to the company to expand its facilities. The first expansion phase was completed in 2004.

From 2010 onwards, the company began exporting, starting with France. From this moment on, export sales grew year after year. During this decade, Blasau was already fully dedicated to the design and construction of slaughterhouses.

In 2018, Blasau added to its extensive catalog the manufacture and installation of cutting rooms, designing lines that meet all hygiene quality standards and optimize production.

In 2021, the second and final phase of the building expansion was completed, adding a total of 3400 m². In addition, Blasau opened a technical office suitable for the engineering staff that has been incorporated in recent years. The current facilities are the result of continuous improvements and expansions based on the original buildings, which have been renovated and adapted over time to meet the needs of the activities we carry out and to better comply with work safety regulations and other standards.

Blasau is a serious and adaptable family company, capable of meeting the needs of each client and with great knowhow to apply in each project.
